BRISBANE & ONLINE I Annual General Meeting

June 20 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

TAKE NOTICE that the Annual General Meeting will be held on Thursday, 20 June 2024, from 5.30pm to 7.30pm, at Clayton Utz, Level 28, Riparian Plaza, 71 Eagle Street, and via Zoom, where the following business will be discussed:
– the receiving of reports by the President, Secretary and Treasurer;
– the receiving of the auditor’s report;
– the voting and declaration of results of the election of members of the Management Committee; and
– the appointment of an auditor.
The reports that will be delivered at the AGM will form the 2023 Annual Report which will be released following the AGM.
Nomination Forms for a position on the Management Committee can be found here.  Only associate members are eligible to be nominated for the position of Student Member Representative.  All nomination forms must be emailed to secretary@wlaq.com.au no later than 4.00pm on Thursday, 6 June 2024 at 4.00 pm.

All members will be provided with a list of all nominees by email by Tuesday, 11 June 2024.
Any member who wants to vote in the election of the Management Committee is to be personally (and physically) present at the AGM, or otherwise complete a Proxy nominating another member to vote on their behalf.  The Proxy Form can be found here. All Proxy Forms are to be emailed to secretary@wlaq.com.au no later than 4:00pm on Monday, 17 June 2024.
