NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

TAKE NOTICE that the Annual General Meeting will be held on Thursday, 23 June 2022, from 5.45pm for a 6.00pm start, at Thynne + Macartney Lawyers, Level 32, Riverside Centre, 123 Eagle Street, Brisbane, and via Zoom, where the following business will be discussed:

• the receiving of reports by the President, Secretary and Treasurer;
• the receiving of the auditor’s report;
• the voting and declaration of results of the election of members of the Management Committee; and
• the appointment of an auditor.

Nomination Forms for a position on the Management Committee can be found here.  Only associate members are eligible to be nominated for the position of Student Member Representative.  All nomination forms must be emailed to secretary@wlaq.com.au no later than 4.00pm on Thursday, 9 June 2022.

If you are unsure of your membership status, please email us or check the FAQ section of the website. 

All members will be provided with a list of all nominees and the position that they have been nominated for by email by Friday, 10 June 2022.

Any member who wants to vote in the election of the Management Committee is to be personally present at the AGM, or otherwise complete a Proxy nominating another member to vote on their behalf.  All Proxy Forms are to be emailed to secretary@wlaq.com.au no later than 4:00pm on Wednesday, 22 June 2022.
