NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

TAKE NOTICE that the Annual General Meeting will be held on Thursday, 25 June 2020, from 5.30pm, and in the interests of protecting all members and to ensure social distancing guidelines are followed, it will be held online via Zoom, where the following business will be discussed:

• the receiving of reports by the President, Secretary and Treasurer;
• the receiving of the auditor’s report;
• the voting and declaration of results of the election of members of the Management Committee; and
• the appointment of an auditor.

Nomination Forms for a position on the Management Committee can be found here.  Only associate (student) members are eligible to be nominated for the position of Student Member Representative. 

All nomination forms must be submitted online no later than 4.00pm on Thursday, 11 June 2020.  In order to be nominated you must be a fully financial member of WLAQ at the time of nomination and at the time of AGM.  The nominator must be a fully financial member of WLAQ at the time of nominating a member. 

All members will be provided with a list of all nominees and the position that they have been nominated for by email by 12 June 2020.

Any member who wants to vote in the election of the Management Committee is to be personally present during the online AGM, where voting will take place via an online (anonymous) poll.  If you are not able to attend, please complete a Proxy nominating another member to vote on your behelf.  All Proxy Forms are to be emailed to secretary@wlaq.com.au no later than 4:00pm on Wednesday, 24 June 2020.
